Little Talbot Island
I took this picture of the dunes at Little Talbot Island State Park, Jacksonville Florida.

It seemed to be missing a key element; so I thought "what if I added a bird?" Which I did...

I exported both pictures to Photoshop (PS) as layers from Lightroom, after making some minor tweaks to exposure and contrast. In PS using free transform (ctrl+T) to change the size of the bird to make it look like a natural element in the picture. Then, I added a layer mask to the bird layer and painted with a soft brush using black to blend it into the dune layer. After carefully blending, this is the final result...
