The Making of Pretty Bird - Before and After

I loved the picture of this bird but the fence is so distracting it took away from it's beauty. I wanted to find a non-destructive way to get rid of it but maintain the bird's beautiful colors. This is a photo I took a the Brevard Zoo.

I've been learning layers, masking and the different blend modes in Photoshop (PS). I follow a couple PS guru's on YouTube and have been trying to employ some of their techniques in my work. So, I've attached a screenshot of the different layers I used to disguise and get rid of the fence below. It's not perfect but I'm pleased with the final result.

Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
